Xzayviia "Zay" Lynn Bundy

With broken hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Xzayviia Lynn Bundy, who departed this life on February 9, 2026, in Tappahannock, Virginia.

“Zay” leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Amanda Johnson (Jamaal); his father, Andy Bundy (Benita); his devoted sisters and brothers: Le’Ondra Johnson (Donnie), Tamia Johnson (Derek), Dyamond Johnson, Jada Kelley, Terrell Johnson, Tony Ward and Tyra Ward; and his beloved nieces and nephews: Tamir Johnson, Rhyan Paige, Ar’Moni Reed, Mison Williams, Nova Wilson, Amarri Johnson, D’Yoni Jones, and D’Aria Jones; his baby cousin Kaia Johnson, who was more than a cousin — she was his best friend and his joy, his beloved grandparents: Blanche Johnson, Ricky Gray (Stephanie), Ernest  Martin, Peggy Bundy and Louis Bundy; his loving aunts and uncles: Lolita Johnson, Latiche Harvey (Demar), Demonte Johnson (Sherry), Ernasia Martin, Ricky Harris, Deion Harris, Carolyn Dabney, Carla Fitzgerald, Karen Hundley (Terrell), and Thomas Harris (Thelma).  He also leaves to cherish his memory his special friends: Morgan Gaines and Keion Hence, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who loved him dearly.

The viewing will be held on Friday, February 20 from 1-7 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 12 noon in the Essex High School auditorium, 833 High School Circle, Tappahannock. The interment will be in the Beulah Baptist Church cemetery, 2007 Latanes Mill Rd., Tappahannock.
