Willie James Mitchell, 74, of Center Cross departed this life on January 4 at his residence.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years Pastor Janie Mitchell; three biological daughters: Antwinette “Von” and Pamela both of Richmond and LaTisha Harris (Ryland) of Center Cross and a special niece/daughter, Chantal Mitchell of Center Cross, two special granddaughters: Mykiah and Lilly and seven siblings: Delois, Rhonda (Walter), Lorean (William), Ricky, Marty (Fiesta), Janet, Sedrick (Sonja).
The viewing will be on Friday, January 7 from 2-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 8 at 11 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Rev. Jonathan Mercer, Pastor.
