Troy Lamont Burrell, 58, of Tappahannock departed this life suddenly on May 17 in Hampton.
He is survived by his mother, Mary T. Burrell of Tappahannock, a son, Travis Harris of Tappahannock, a grand-daughter, Leah Harris, eight sisters: Levern Miller (Clarence) of Laneview, Erva Veney of Tappahannock, Mary “Be-Be” Gaines of Hustle, Arlene Gail Wormley (Dennis) of Dunnsville, Sandra Burrell of Woodbury, NJ, Rhonda Burrell of Tappahannock, Sherrie Burrell and Lori Burrell both of Fredericksburg; four brothers: Raymond Hammond (Yvonne) of Apple Valley, CA, Linnell Burrell, Sr. of Havelock, NC, Abraham Burrell, Jr. of Farnham and Kevin Burrell of Edgewood, MD.
The viewing will be held on Friday, May 22 from 4-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. A private graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at Union Shiloh Baptist Church, Jamaica.
The viewing and graveside service will adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines set forth by the Governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam.
