Terri Reinhardt White

Terri Reinhardt White, 68, of Aiken, SC, has gone home to rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Terri passed away at home on Sunday, May 24, 2026. She lived in Emporia, Richmond, and Tappahannock, Virginia, before earning her nursing degree from Johnston-Willis Hospital School of Nursing in 1980. She and her husband, Baker, eventually settled in Aiken in 1989. After earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, she served her community as a dedicated nurse for over fifteen years, in clinical settings and as faculty at the University of South Carolina Aiken School of Nursing. She maintained many varied interests, including quilting and sewing clubs, extensive travel, camping, snorkeling, homeschool mentoring, and service to her church. One of her greatest joys was playing games with her family; her laughter was infectious. She was a faithful member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church and previously Millbrook Baptist Church.

Terri is survived by her husband and best friend of 43 years, Baker White, with whom she built a life full of joy and adventure; her children who she loved fiercely, Sarah Speer (John), Leigh Anne Miles (Wilson), and Matthew White; eight grandchildren who she adored, Abigail, Emily, Annabelle, Wilson, Madelyn, Joseph, Samuel, and Ezra; mother, Shirley Reinhardt; brothers: Scott Reinhardt (Bridget), and Joey Reinhardt (Judi); and five nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, E A Reinhardt.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27 at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, Aiken, SC at 11:30am. The service will be livestreamed at https://iframe.dacast.com/b/156599/c/585055 . The interment will be at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery, 287 Ephesus Church Rd., Dunnsville, VA on Friday, May 29 at 4 p.m.
