Shirley Hobbs

Shirley Hobbs, of St. Stephens Church departed this life on Monday, July 27, 2020.

She is survived by: three children: Bernadine Broaddus of St Stephens Church, Virginia, Hoskins Broaddus Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Alesha Hobbs of Henrico, Virginia; a brother, Rev. Robert D. Brown of St Stephens Church, Virginia, one step-daughter, Belinda Hayes of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The viewing will be held on Friday, July 31 from 4-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 1 at 11 a.m. at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Newtown. Rev. Drucilla Pollard, Pastor. Rev. Robert D. Brown, Eulogist.
