Rufus Thomas Jones

Rufus T. Jones, 59, of Dunnsville departed this life on Jan. 11 in a Richmond hospital.

He is survived by four children: DaShonda Fagains, Lajola Fagains, Destiny Jones (Daniel) and Isiah Jones (T’Nya); eight sisters: Jacqueline Carter (Earl), Cassie Jones, Virlene Tunstall (Eric Sr.), Hope Jones, Maretha Jones, Ethel Jackson, Faye Smith-Ellegood and Patricia Marshall and five brothers: Anthony Jones, Archie Jones, Earl Jones, Sr., William Smith and Cass “Button” Smith.

The viewing will be held on Friday, Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. until the 12 noon (the hour of the service) at Angel Visit Baptist Church, Dunnsville. The interment will be in the church cemetery
