Ruby Elizabeth Nelson

Ruby Elizabeth Nelson, 91, of Center Cross departed this life on August 18 at her daughter’s residence.

She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Smith of Center Cross, two sons: Edward Nelson of West Virginia and Frankie Nelson of Newport News, one sister, Mary Lee Scott of Warsaw, five grandchildren: Tamika Smith, Tamarra Williams, Frankie Vaughan Nelson, Christopher Smith and Elexus Stone; ten great grandchildren: Areanna Vaughan, Jabarri Vaughan, Isiah Bareford, Mison Williams, Miladi Williams, DaSean Jackson, Tony Carter-Vaughan, Rainie Carter-Vaughan, Jayson Nash and Layla Smith; and three great-great-grandchildren: Omauri Lee, Jayden Vaughan and Nazere Vaughan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  

The viewing will be held on Friday, August 21 from 5-7 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held at Saturday, August 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Holiness Church, Rt. 3, Warsaw.
