Ruben Dale Roane

Ruben Dale. Roane, 63, of St. Stephens Church departed this life on October 9.

He is survived by two daughters: Valeshia Roane of Richmond and Reneshia Roane of Tappahannock; Sylvia Smith of St. Stephens Church, Evelyn Moore (Ronald) of Champlain, Mary Johnson (Oliver) of Tappahannock, Barbara Bundy of Williamsburg, Wanda Reynolds (Melvin) and Tammy Roane all of Tappahannock and Phyllis Redmond (William) of Montross.

The viewing will be held on Friday, October 18 from 3-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 11 a.m. at First Union Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Rev. Jonathan Mercer, Eulogist. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
