Rosa Newbill

Rosa Anna Newbill, 89, of St. Stephens Church entered into eternal rest on April 8 at her residence.

She is survived by her children: Lonnie Newbill (Arlene), Alfreda Nelson (James), Timothy Newbill (Dorothy) all of St. Stephens Church, Phyllis Moore (William) of Richmond, Jerome Newbill (Loretta) of King William, Wayne Newbill (Joanne) of Lancaster, Darry Newbill (Carolyn) of Blackstone and Stacy Newbill. She was cherished by 21 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren; one sister, Annie Thompson (John) of Newtown, one step-sister, Hope Johnson (William) of Bruington, four sisters-in-law: Mary Harvey, Naomi Harvey, Bernice Thompson and Shirley Deshazo. 

The viewing will be held on Friday, April 15 from 3-6 p.m. at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 7820 Newtown Rd., Newtown, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 3 p.m. Rev. Drucilla Pollard, Pastor.
