Robert Lee Cauthorne, 94, of Tappahannock departed this life at his residence on May 24.
He is survived by a nephew, John Cauthorne, eight nieces: Sarah Dixson, Maretha Jones and Ethel Jackson all of Tappahannock, Frances Reed and Doris Gray both of Laneview, Martha Carey of Dunnsville, Shirley Cauthorne of Richmond and Sarah Rembert of New Jersey and a host of other relatives and friends.
The viewing will be held on Friday, May 28 from 2-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 29 at 11 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Rev. Jonathan Mercer, Pastor.
