Robert Preston Anderson

Robert Preston Anderson, 91, of Dunnsville departed this life on Dec. 14 in a Richmond hospital.

He is survived by his five children: Darryl Anderson (Jan), Michelle Anderson, Derek Anderson, Brenda Anderson-Diggs (Lloyd), and Marian Elliott (David), ten grandchildren, seventeen great- grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and the neighborhood children he adopted along the way.

A memorial service will be held on Jan. 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 401 Marsh St., Tappahannock. The interment will be held later at the National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico.
