Preston Larry Hence, 68, of St. Stephens Church departed this life on April 23 at The Laurels of Willow Creek in Midlothian.
He is survived by a son, Duniel Bishop of Walkerton, two sisters: Joyice Hasson of New Jersey and Delphine Gray of Philadelphia, PA and seven brothers: Ronald Hence, Fred Hence and Mervin Hence all of Richmond, Gerald Hence, Maurice Hence and Clyde Hence all of St. Stephens Church and Joseph Hence of New Jersey.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, April 29 from 3-5 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30 at 11 a.m. at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Newtown. Rev. Drucilla Pollard, Pastor
