Nancy Ann Tucker

Nancy Ann Tucker, 73, of King & Queen Courthouse departed this life on July 1.

She is survived by a daughter, Tinia Tompkins of West Point, four grandchildren: Joshua Tompkins of California, Patrick Tompkins of Woodbridge, Kyla Tompkins of Texas and Tyzaiah Braxton of West Point; three sisters: Carrie Tompkins (Alston) of Tappahannock, Barbara Tompkins of Richmond and Carolyn Tompkins of King & Queen and a brother, Pastor Quinton Tompkins (Geraldine) of Tappahannock.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, July 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 10 at 11 a.m. at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Newtown. The interment will immediately follow the service in the New Testament Church cemetery, Tappahannock.
