Mildred M. Emmons, 100, of Tappahannock departed this life on May 2 at The Orchard in Warsaw.
She is survived by her son, Timothy E. Emmons, a granddaughter, Selina Emmons and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Emmons, a devoted nephew, Barry L. Johnson (Kith) of Baltimore, MD and a devoted niece, Mildred P. Nickens (Stanley) of Tappahannock.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 7 from 4-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside service will be held on Friday, May 8 at 1 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Rev. Jonathan Mercer, Pastor.
The graveside service will be live streamed on Facebook at the St. John Baptist Church Tappahannock page tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
The viewing and the graveside service will adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines set forth by the Governor of Virginia
