Melvin Lee Veney, Jr.

Melvin Lee Veney Jr., 28, of Caret departed this life on December 21 in a Richmond hospital.

He is survived by his mother, Carla Monroe, his father, Melvin Lee Veney, Sr., a sister, Alexia Monroe, a brother, Rasaen Monroe and his grandmother, Charlotte Monroe.

The viewing will be on Tuesday, December 28 from 3-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 29 at 12 noon at Angel Visit Baptist Church, Dunnsville. Rev. Dr. Carla Lightfoot, Pastor.
