Mary Arlene Smith, “Sugar Bear” 67, of Caret departed this life at her residence on July 26.
She is survived by three sisters: Bertha Strong (James) of Montross, Barbara Payne (Charles) of Tappahannock and Ruth Ann Smith of Caret and one brother, Robert Jeter (Vernell) of Tappahannock.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, July 30 at 11 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, Chance. Rev. Russell Shackleford, Pastor.
