Mary Frances Reed

Mary Frances Reed, 89, of Laneview departed this life on Dec. 21.

She is survived by three daughters: Ann Ward of Laneview, Vivian Jessie (Wayne) of Churchview and Brenda Butler of Dale City; seven sons: Earl Reed of Laneview, Charles Reed (Diane) of Laneview,  Wayne Reed of Jamaica, Gilbert Reed (Gladys) of Warner,  Francis Reed (Jeanette) of Laneview,  Melvin Reed (Stacy) of Henrico and Terry Reed (Stacy) of Urbanna; twenty-seven grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one brother, John Cauthorne (Bessie) of Laneview; five sisters: Doris Gray of Laneview, Sarah Rembert of Camden, New Jersey, Shirley Cauthorne of Richmond and Martha Carey of Dunnsville.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 28 from 4-7 p.m. at Union Shiloh Baptist Church, 3 Union Shiloh Rd., Jamaica, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
