Martin Robert Lewis, Jr., 68, of Newtown departed this life on May 4 in a Mechanicsville hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lewis, a daughter, Yolanda Johnson, two sons: Martino Lewis and Lavon Lewis; a sister, Virginia Lewis and a brother, Mark “Tony” Lewis.

The viewing will be held on Friday, May 15 from 4-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside funeral will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Bowling Green. Rev. Jared Beasley, Pastor. The interment will be in the Mount Tabor Baptist Church cemetery, 21795 Mattaponi Trail, Milford.

The viewing, graveside service and interment will adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines set forth by the Governor of Virginia
