Lloyd Junior Braxton

Lloyd Junior Braxton, 80, of Georgia, formerly of Essex County departed this life on June 17.

He is survived by a son, Lloyd D. Braxton, a daughter, Adrienne Hammond (Jimmy), a sister, Dianne Kersey, a nephew, Lazarus (Sadie), a niece, LaTonia (Rocky), four grandchildren: Jamison Hammond, Jocelyn Hammond, Lloyd D.C. Braxton, and Jamira Braxton and two treasured great-grandchildren, Lotus and Zyaire. He also leaves behind a host of loving relatives, dear friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, June 27 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Caret, where the service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
