Lisa Eaton Ware, 66 of Tappahannock departed this life suddenly to her eternal home on May 1.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph Ware Sr., a son, Joseph Ware Jr. “Joey”, a daughter-in-law, Melissa Ware, two grandchildren: Zaccheus and Elianna Ware; a brother, John Eaton Jr., loving sisters-in-law: Joyce and Jean Ware, a brother-in-law, Jerome Ware, nieces: Rita, Janice and Sherlonda and nephews: Jerome “Lamont” and John and special great nieces and nephews. She shared endearing friendships with Phyllis, Gladys, Sylvia, Cassandra, Ann, Drucilla and many others that were blessed to call her friend.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice, a granddaughter, Harley and two aunts: Ruth and Laura Jane.
The viewing will be held on Friday, May 13 from 3-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 12 noon in the Essex High School Auditorium, 833 High School Circle, Tappahannock. Rev. Cornelius Holmes, officiating. The internment will take place in the Grace Episcopal Church cemetery at a later date to be determined.
