Linnell S. Burrell, Sr.

Linnell S. Burrell, Sr., 72, of Havelock, NC departed this life on Oct. 28.

He is survived by two daughters: Luciana Brown of Tampa, FL and Brandy Burrell of Newport News, a son, Linnell S. Burrell, Jr. of Hartfield; his mother, Mary J. Burrell of Tappahannock, eight sisters: Levern Miller (Clarence Sr.) of Laneview, Erva Veney of Tappahannock, Mary Gaines of Hustle, Arlene Gail Wormley (Dennis) of Dunnsville, Sandra Burrell of Woodbury, NJ, Rhonda Burrell of Tappahannock, Sherrie Burrell and Lori Burrell both of  Fredericksburg and three brothers: Raymond Hammond (Yvonne) of Apple Valley, CA, Abraham Burrell, Jr. of Laneview and Kevin Burrell (Angelina) of Edgewood, MD and an aunt, Margaret Robinson of Philadelphia, PA.

The viewing will be held on Friday, Nov. 8 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. at Union Shiloh Baptist Church, Jamaica. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
