Joyce Ann Holmes

Joyce Ann Gaines Holmes, 84, departed this life on August 14 in a Warsaw nursing facility.

She is survived by six daughters: Cynthia Holmes, Wanda Holmes and Tammey Holmes all of Tappahannock, Karen McCoy (Victor) of Kinsale, Marsha Hays (Darren) of Freeman and Regina Julian of Vienna; two sisters: Barbara Brown and Denise Gaines both of Philadelphia, PA and two brothers: Larry Gaines of Culpepper and Darrel Gaines of Philadelphia, PA.

The viewing will be held on Friday, August 20 from 4-7 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 21 at 11 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Rev. Floyd Johnson, Pastor.
