Joseph Carter Holmes, 75, of Millers Tavern departed this life on January 12.
He is survived by a host of nieces & nephews: Jeannette, Bonnie, Violet, Donald, Wayne, William, George, Ronnie, Thomas and Clyde and loving friend of many years, Martha Clarke of Tappahannock.
The viewing will be held on Friday, January 21 from 3-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22 at 11 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Rev. Floyd Johnson, Pastor.
