John Alvin Harvey

John Alvin Harvey, 66, of St. Stephens, departed this life on Oct. 1.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Harvey, two daughters: Barbara Harvey Brown and Takeisha Robinson; two sons: Ricky Holmes and Andrew Holmes and his mother, Mary E. Harvey.

The viewing will be held on Friday, Oct. 11 from 3-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 12 noon at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 7820 Newtown Rd., Newtown. The interment will be in the church cemetery
