Jerry Lewis Nelson, Jr. of Tappahannock departed this life on Saturday, November 30 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Tamara A. Nelson, two sons: Amarian Veney and Juwane Veney; his mother, Shirley Nelson of Topping, his father, Jerry Nelson Sr. of Champlain, a sister, Latoya Nelson of Champlain, a brother, Thomas Nelson (Kimberly) of Howerton and his grandmother, Carrie Reynolds of Champlain.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, December 5 from 12 noon – 6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6 at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 34 Wellfords Wharf Rd., Warsaw. Rev. Dr. James Johnson, Pastor. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
