Jean Dorothy Stewart, 75, of Tappahannock departed this life on Sunday, September 5 in a Mechanicsville hospital.
She is survived by two daughters: Carolyn Stewart Carey (Randy) and Sandra Stewart, a God son, Corey Stewart (Dana) and a God daughter, Tasha Stewart all of Tappahannock, two sisters: Lucille Stewart of Camden, NJ and Arlene Watkins (Karl) of St. Stephens Church and three brothers: William Dover Scott (Kathy) of Richmond, Roger Scott of Tappahannock and Tony Scott (Charlotte) of Jacksonville, NC.
The viewing will be held on Friday, September 10 from 5-7 p.m. at First Union Baptist Church, 497 Rexburg Loop, Tappahannock, where the funeral will be held Saturday, September 11 at 11a.m. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
