James Leroy Pollard

James Leroy Pollard, 71, of Ashland departed this life on Oct. 10.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ann Pollard, a son, Shawn Pollard, a step-daughter, Felicia Foster and a step-son, Wilbus Foster. He is also survived by a sister, Joanne Gregory (Gerald) and a brother, Wayne Pollard (Drucilla).

The viewings will be held on Thursday, Oct. 16 from 4-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock and on Friday, Oct. 17 from 4-6 at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Newtown. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 2 pm. at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
