Ives Terrell Fortune, Jr. departed this life on July 6.

He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Dyson Fortune, his mother, Flossie Gaines, a brother, Bruce Fortune, a sister, Maria Berry and children: Patricia Dyson, April Berry, Denise Dyson and Lekevious Hunter.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, July 18 from 10-11 a.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 21180 Bagby Rd., Sparta, where the funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. The interment will be in the church cemetery
