Isaac Richard Smith, Jr.

Isaac Richard Smith, Jr. “Ricky”, 50, of Norfolk formerly of Caret departed this life on Wednesday, February 27 in a Norfolk hospital.

He is survived by a son, Isaac Lamar Smith, wife, Carol Smith, both of Norfolk, his siblings: Bertha Strong (James) of Montross, Mary Smith of Caret, Barbara Payne (Charles) of Tappahannock, Ruth Smith of Caret and Robert Jeter (Vernell) of Tappahannock.

The viewing will be held on Friday, March 8 from 12 noon – 6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 11 a.m. at the Essex Intermediate School, 912 Intermediate School Circle, Tappahannock. The interment will be in the Zion Baptist Church cemetery, 132 Laytons Landing Rd., Chance.
