Irvin Bernard Vaughan Sr., 70, of Champlain departed this life on Dec. 8.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica Beale Vaughan, two sons: Irvin Vaughan Jr. of Hustle and Donell Stalnaker of Tappahannock; two daughters: Monique Beale of Woodbridge and Gwendolyn Green Shelton of Tappahannock; a grandson, Bryce Vaughan, three sisters: Jill Young of Dunnsville, Sharon Bibbens of Tappahannock and Diane Reed of Middlesex and four brothers: Earl Vaughan of Dunnsville, Levi Vaughan and Frankie Vaughan both of Tappahannock and James Robert Vaughan Jr. of New Jersey.
The viewing will be held on Friday, Dec. 15 from 3-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church, 342 Johnville Rd., Dunnsville. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
