Inez Martin Owens

Inez Martin Owens, 78, of Temple Hills, MD departed this life on Friday, September 13 in Capital Caring Hospice in Lanham, MD.

She is survived by two daughters: Mary Diane Mabuya of Henrico and Ernestine D. King of Temple Hills, MD; five sons: Ronnie D. Powell (Tracy) of Ft. Washington, MD, James W. Powell of Henrico, Kevin M. Powell of Richmond, Vincent R. Powell (Roshell) of Henrico and Linwood J. Powell of Temple Hills, MD; four sisters: Margaret Taylor of Tappahannock, Faye Townes (Stacy) of Walkerton, Lucille Martin of St. Stephens Church and Ella Taylor of Newark, NJ; five brothers: Rossie L. Martin (Joyce) of Penns Grove, NJ, Earl Martin (Gloria) of Baltimore, MD, Robert Martin (Lakisha) of West Deptford, NJ, Fred Martin (Euricka) of Woodlynne, NJ and Howard Martin Sr. of St. Stephens Church.

The viewing will be held on Friday, September 20 from 4-7 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Avenue, Richmond. The interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery, 1401 South Randolph St., Richmond.
