Ila Dobson Hampton

Ila Dobson Hampton, 93, of King & Queen Courthouse departed this life on July 2.

She is survived by her loving husband, Russell Thomas Hampton, a step-son, Thomas Bruce Hampton Sr., two grandsons: Michael Dobson (Glennis) and Thomas Bruce Hampton Jr; two great grandchildren: Camden Dobson and Ila Dobson; a sister, Delores Andrews (Thomas), a brother-in-law, William Hampton (Anna), four sisters-in-law: Margie Hampton, Evelyn Hampton, Joanne Hampton and Elena Hampton and a special cousin and caretaker, Gerry Smith.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 8 at 1 p.m. in the Washington Funeral Home chapel in Tappahannock.
