Hurley Thomas Hooper, 73, of Champlain departed this life on June 8 in a Richmond hospital.
He is survived by a daughter, Cindy Hooper of Washington, DC, a son, Thomas Dwayne Hooper of Champlain, a sister, Shirley Kendall of Chance, a nephew, Stanley Clarke (Delois) of Caret and three nieces: Diane Garnett (Ivan) of Fredericksburg, Sharon Hooper of Glen Allen and Nancy Anderson (David) of Ashland.
The viewing will be held on Friday, June 14 from 2-6 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church, 132 Laytons Landing, Chance. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 2 p.m. in the auditorium of Essex High School, 833 High School Circle, Tappahannock. The interment will be in the Zion Baptist Church cemetery
