Howard Martin

Howard Martin, 69, of Mechanicsville formerly of King & Queen departed this life on March 13 in Mechanicsville.

He is survived by a son, Howard Martin Jr. (Charlene) of Mechanicsville, his grandchildren: Z’miyah and Gabriel; four sisters: Margaret Taylor of Tappahannock, Lucille Martin of St. Stephens Church, Ella Mae Taylor of New Jersey and Faye Townes of Walkerton and four brothers: Rossie L. Martin, Robert Martin and Fred Martin all of New Jersey and Earl Martin of Baltimore, MD.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, March 20 from 4-7 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside funeral will be on Sunday, March 21 at 2 p.m. at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Newtown. Rev. Drucilla Tate, Pastor.
