Helen Yolanda Fortune, 56, of Tappahannock departed this life on September 27 at her residence.
She is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Fortune-Woods (Frank), four beautiful grandchildren: Ezra, Zoe, Ethan and Zaryiah; one sister, Juanita Mudd of Hustle and two brothers: Julian Clarke (Dedra) of Hustle and Llewlyn Clark of Virginia Beach; four half-sisters: Sophia Ruffin (Lenny) of Virginia Beach, Kathleen Johnson (Jay) of Suffolk, Ceshia Clarke of Hustle, and Cassandra Clarke (Luther) Baltimore, MD; three half-brothers: Unarico Clarke (Laura Mae) of Tappahannock, James Clark (Shannon) of Texas and Theodrick Clark of Pennsylvania.
The viewing will be held on Friday, October 4 from 1-6 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephens Baptist Church, 29436 Sparta Rd., Milford, VA. The interment will be in the church cemetery. Rev.
