Gloria Ann Ransome

Gloria Ann Ransome, 66, of Tappahannock departed this life on Sunday, July 14 in Fredericksburg.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Jr. Ransome of Bowling Green, one daughter, Rose Veney of Fredericksburg, two step-daughters: Robin Baber (Rick) and Toewanda Robinson (Dorsel); three sisters: Rose Baker (Nathaniel), Della Turner (Warner) and Patsy Golden all of Tappahannock and two brothers: Robert Lee Campbell (Jean) of Tappahannock and George “Pete” Campbell of North Carolina.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, July 20 from 1-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 21 at 2 p.m. at First Union Baptist Church, 497 Rexburg Loop, Tappahannock. Rev. Milton Robinson, Pastor. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
