Gladys Sutphin Bowens

Gladys Marie Bowens, 98, of Fredericksburg departed this life on Nov. 30.

She is survived by two daughters: Beverly Bowens Barco (Andre) and June Bowens Jallah (Jusu); three grandsons: Marcus Barco (Nikole), Cameron Barco and Augustine Jallah and two great grandsons: Ayden and Aaron Barco.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Dec. 8 at 12 noon at St. John Baptist Church, 155 St. John Church Rd., Tappahannock. Rev. Jonathan Mercer, Pastor.
