George Henry Jones

George Henry Jones, 84, of Ruther Glen departed this life on December 22 in a Richmond hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Jones of Ruther Glen, a daughter, Donna Lumpkin of Oklahoma, three sons: Derrick Jones of Ruther Glen, George P. Jones of Baltimore, MD and Jonathan Jones of Varina.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, December 30 from 3-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock. The graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, December 31 at 12 noon at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 1890 Dunluce Rd., King William.
