Garnett Delano Coleman "Sonny"

Garnett Delano Coleman “Sonny” departed this life on Monday, May 13 in a Colonial Beach nursing home.

He is survived by his mother, Marion D. Coleman, one daughter, Latonia Knight (Arvin), a grandson, Christian Knight, five sisters: Marva Coleman, Cynthia Coleman, Muriel Coleman, Miriam Coleman Faye (Douda) and Cheryl Lemon (Herbert) all of New Jersey.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 24 from 1-7 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. A graveside funeral will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 11 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Rev. Floyd Johnson, Pastor
