Etta B. Wright, 92, of Champlain departed this life on September 6 at her residence.
She is survived by five daughters: Jean Atkinson (Bennie) of Oxon Hill, MD, Carolyn Brown (LC) of Nevada, Martha Coleman of Front Royal, Gail Wright of Tappahannock, Sarah Harris (Tony) of Tappahannock; two sons: Freddie Wright of Tappahannock and George Wright (Cynthia) of Tappahannock; three sisters: Mary Clarke, Ellen Byrd and Viola Byrd all of Tappahannock; two brothers: Stanley Byrd of Tappahannock and Ralph Jones (Ella) of Petersburg.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, September 9 from 4-6 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, Tappahannock, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10 at 11 a.m. Rev. Jonathan Mercer, Pastor. Rev. Dr. Willie T. Carter, Eulogist. The interment will be in the New Liberty Baptist Church cemetery, 33030 Sparta Rd., Milford.
