Ella Bernice Flowers

Ella Bernice Flowers, 94, of Washington, DC formerly of Essex County, VA departed this life on Sept. 6 at her residence.

She is survived by three nieces: Susie J. Johnson of Tappahannock, Martha Paris (Jerry) and Diana Moore both of Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.

The viewing will be on Friday, Sept. 16 from 2-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church, Tappahannock. Rev. Floyd Johnson, Pastor. Online condolences can be made to washingtonfh.com.
