Earl Newman Latney

Earl Newman Latney, 70, of Newtown departed this life on February 24.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Latney, two children: Lamond Latney and Alva Latney (Quincy); two grandchildren: Rashawn Latney and Gabrielle Crawley; three sisters: Annie Chatman (Charles) of Fredericksburg, Gloria Samuel of Sparta and Pauline Levere (Wayne) of Tappahannock and one brother, Robert Latney of Fredericksburg. 

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 2 from 3-5 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 3 at 12 noon at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Newtown. Rev. Drucilla Pollard, Pastor.
