Doris C. Johnson

Doris C. Johnson, 88, of Tappahannock departed this life on Feb. 27 in a Richmond hospital.

She is survived by her husband, George E. Johnson, a son, George S. Johnson of Herndon, two daughters: Ellen Harrison of Richmond and Yolanda Mosley of Lynchburg; two sisters: Celestine Pompey and Julie Hunter both of New York and four brothers: Ronald Hunter and Nelson Hunter both of Chesapeake, Jason Hunter of Philadelphia, PA and Willis Hunter of Virginia Beach.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, March 15 from 3-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 155 St. John Church Rd., Tappahannock.
