Cordelia Rolease Myers “Puddin” 84 of Hustle departed this life on January 31 in Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD.
She is survived by her two children: JoAnn Robinson (Mark) of Philadelphia, PA and Robert Myers Jr. (Sharnita) of Bowie, MD, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, four brothers: Randolph Fortune of Adelphi, MD, Robert Fortune Sr. (Gloria) of Hustle, Jannie Fortune (Dale) of Tappahannock and Phillip Fortune of Newport News; three sisters: Alberta Harrison and Emma Henry “ED” both of Hustle and Carolyn Vessells of Newport News; one aunt, Thelma Louise Young of Hustle and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The viewing will be held on Friday, February 5 from 2-5 pm. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 6 at 11 a.m. at the Fortune Family Cemetery, Fortune Lane, Hustle. Elder Charles Johnson, Eulogist.
