Clifton Wardell Ransome, Sr.

Clifton Wardell Ransome, Sr., "Icky" 73, of Bowling Green departed this life on Saturday, June 5 at Bowling Green Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

He is survived by a son, Clifton Ransome Jr. (Nicole), his siblings: Robert Jr. Ransome, Elsie R. Pratt (Robert), Barbara A. Fortune (Mitchell), Marion D. Pollard (Perry), William A. Ransome (Robin) Lavern Ransome, Hazel E. Ransome and Gloria M. Ransome; five granddaughters, an aunt, Hazel M. Watson and a host of other relatives and friends.

The viewing will be held on Friday, June 11 from 3-5 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 12 at 11 a.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Caret. Rev. Lester Harvey, Pastor.
