Cheryl Acree Holmes

Cheryl Acree Holmes, 61, of Tappahannock departed this life on Friday, December 31.

She is survived by her husband, Michael A. Holmes of Tappahannock, three children: Shanta Kress of Madison, AL, Monte Holmes of Tappahannock and Sharise Caldwell of Pinetops, NC; a sister, Telia Acree of Champlain and a brother, George Acree (Jennifer) of Maryland, eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

The viewing will be on held on Saturday, January 15 from 9-10 a.m. in the Essex High School Auditorium, Tappahannock.  The funeral service will immediately follow at 10 a.m. The interment will be in the Antioch Baptist Church cemetery, Champlain.
