Chekeela Diane Johnson

Chekeela Diane Johnson “Dee”, 55, of Champlain departed this life on September 1 in a local hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Johnson, a son, Darnell Johnson and a sister, Vaulrie Green all of Champlain and two brothers: Clyde Lindsey of Glen Allen and Alvin Lindsey of Center Cross.

The viewing will be held on Friday, September 15 from 3-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock. The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 16 at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 3207 Quarter Hill Rd., Supply. Rev. Irving Woolfolk, Jr., Pastor. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
