Charles W. Weeden

Charles W. Weeden “Tankie”, 60, of Walkerton departed this life on Nov. 4 in a Mechanicsville hospital.

He is survived by his mother, Ella Louise Weeden of Walkerton, a daughter, DeShannon Brooken of King William, a son, Garvin Hill of Tappahannock, five sisters: Louise Hickman (Charles), Shelia Billups (Solomon), Brenda Weeden, Sylvia Garlick (Larry) and Tracy Fauntleroy; two brothers: Charles Braxton (Bonnie) and Michael Braxton.

The viewing will be on Friday, Nov. 13 from 4-6 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. at New Morning Star Baptist Church, Walkerton. Rev. Sylvia Berry, Pastor. Rev. Marcus Hickman, Eulogist
