Chad Mitchell Fortune

Chad Mitchell Fortune, 48, of Petersburg departed this life on Dec. 9 in a Petersburg hospital.

He is survived by his parents: Mitchell and Barbara Ann Fortune of Bowling Green; two brothers: Shawn C. Fortune (Blanch) and Robert C. Fortune (Twana) all of Bowling Green and his best friend: Rodney Boyd of Petersburg.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 4-7 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Caret. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. at Essex High School, Tappahannock. The interment will be in New Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery.
