Carolyn Tunstall was born on September 23, 1965 in Richmond, Virginia. She departed this life on March 1, 2020. She was educated in Tappahannock, VA until the 11th grade and graduated from John Jay High School in Brooklyn, NY.
Carolyn had the biggest smile and a big vibrant personality that could change the room in a positive way. Her laugh was often infectious. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed family outings and gatherings. She cherished her children and being a mother - her grandchildren and being a grandmother. Carolyn was a Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and loved to have her Steelers wear on for good luck as she enjoyed watching and rooting for her "boys". Her smile, her light, her sense of humor, and her love will be missed from her family very deeply.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Tunstall and father, Clarence Tunstall.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Jennifer Palmer (John) and Steven Tunstall; her brothers: Michael Tunstall (Lavinia) and Clarence Tunstall (Erica); sister, Valerie Peace (Jonathan); grandchildren: Caleb Whitlow, Joshua Whitlow and Alijah Tunstall; her aunt, Rosa Tyson (Robert) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
The memorial service has been postponed until further notice.
